philliplaprarie	As previosly stated, it is only psychologically addictive. My problem when my dealer got arrested was getting to sleep. If that is the case with you, try deep, regular breathing as youre trying to get to sleep. This also helps during the day if you have cravings. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Dave Gould	It's addictive like chocolate is addictive ie purely because it's pleasureable. Withdrawal symptoms are unheard of. Having said that, imagine if chocolate made your head spin for 4 hours. Would you ever be sober? Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Charlee	Of course its addictive. Why else have you not succeeded in giving it up. You will find it very hard to give up if your complete lifestyle and social circle is supportive of it and if you started so young that you havn't experienced something different and positive. Weaning yourself off can work very well if you SERIOUSLY want too quit. If you feel you cannot say 'no' when craving then it is controlling you.. not you controlling it!.. lisalovesthekillers	its not addictive in the true sense of the word, your body isnt physically addict to it but your mind and sleep patterns would be affected if you try to quit, try cutting right down to half a joint before bed, then a few tokes, and ween your self of, dont make the mistake of turning to Valium or any other sleeping tablets, there worse than the dope Was this answer helpful to you? Justcallmeباكو	No effing *** it's a drug, but it's not as addicting as Nicotine**, I quit the first 4 baggy's into it. I didn't want to get into it and than lead to other, and worse drugs, it's bad for your health, and it takes up too much money once your a full addict. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

*jaynemansfield**	Well, anything can be addictive. The addiction the marijuana would be a psychological addiction, not a physical addiction, if there were in fact an addiction. There will not be withdrawl if you quit using like there would be from cigarettes or heroin. The mental addiction is basically, the longing to feel high. This certainly does not happen to everyone, but it does happen to some. When something, such as a drug starts affecting the way you lived your life before (i.e. school, friends, hobbies, sports, ect) then you may have an addiction. I have smoked weed for almost two years now and not once have my grades slipped, my ability in dance decreased, or my social life become worse. I can quit at anytime and have before for long periods of time without any feeling of needing it during that time. I do it because I like it, its purely a recreational activity for me.
