a bong is a device for smoking marijuana. it bubbles the smoke through water. this is believed to remove harmful water soluble carcinogens, however, the water needs to be changed frequently to achieve this end. a bong is quite easy to make at home, but may be purchased. since the active ingredient in marijuana (THC) is oil soluble, it is passed through the water with little loss. a bong is not recommended for smoking substances in which the active ingredients are water soluble, such as tobacco, where Nicotine is water soluble.

lol XD u and me are on the same bote hear well i know ppl who do them and every time i see them thy tell me "dont do drugs" idk i think weed just calms ur nervs but thy call weed the gate way cuz first you start with that then u keep going oo and a bong is like a glass tube that gos down and at the bottom thers like a funle looking thing and i think people suck in from the top of the tube or sumthing like water

a vase like object with a large hole in the top for inhaling through. the bottom has water in it usualy and a small hole with a stem in it. a stem is a straw like glass or plastic object that you put marijuana in and it directs the smoke under the water when you inhale. the smoke filters through the water and become cooler. the water also filters out larger resinous particles like tar, so its more healthy to use.

Hmmm...can't you ask your mom? A Bong is a medium to smoke marijuana out of. It may be made from glass, clay, plastic or metal. It is akin to a water pipe, it is a stand-up bottle or tubular shaped piece with a hole at the top, another hole being set lower in the bong where a glass or metal tube(the tube goes into the water to filter and cool off the smoke) sets in the water and a bowl is attached to the tube where one places their bud and lights 'er up!! its like a vase, you smoke marijuana out of it theres a little bowl at the bottom where you put the marijuana you suck from the top and pull out the bowl then suck again to get all the smoke oh and it has water in it to filter it or something
