I have been living with back pain for 26 years and have been prescribed every thing from asprin to Morphine, and found that all I need is marijuana. Try it you'll like it!

Yes, death usually will do it.
Or, try some breathing techniques. Best to talk to a pain therapist and not idiots on the internet.

Pain is our bodies way of telling us that something is wrong. Taking medication only masks the symptoms of pain and doesn't correct the underlying cause (in addition to having nasty side effects). It's great that you're interested in an alternative method for pain relief, so I would like to suggest chiropractic care. Contrary to popular belief, chiropractic is not all about "neck and back pain."
Chiropractic is founded on the principle that the Central Nervous System (brain, spinal cord, and nerves) controls EVERY BODILY FUNCTION, and if the nerves running out between the vertebrae are pinched, it can cause pain, numbness/tingling, or any type of general malfunction in that nerve's corresponding body part. Chiropractors call this type of spinal misalignment a "subluxation." So if you've tried other pain remedies or if your doctor can't pinpoint a specific cause for the pain, it might be in your interest to get your spine checked by a chiropractor.
No matter what you decide to do, I wish you good luck!

unless you can put your mind some where else..like meditation...visualization....hypnosis
visualization has been used alot with cancer patients and it does have some effect on relieving the pain.

i was injured in the army in 1973 and i was beat up badly.the only relief i get are from pain meds and pain injections into my spine and neck.it really depends how severe the pain is when it comes to natural ways to get any relief. i have searched the wed and found nothing to give me the relief that i need just to be able to pick up my mail and go wherever iwant.i have chrnic pain so im stuck with pain pills and shots.and constpation too.thats one terrible side effect fom pain medication and another is getting addicted.look all you want but if your pain is severe nothing natural will help. im sorry

A profesional massage can help, but it can be costly. If you have someone who can give you one with Bengai or any massaging cream, that would usually work pretty good. That's what I do to my hubby when he exercises too much. A hot bath with a lot of salt in it will help too.

yoga / light stretches
When you wake up, be sure to stretch your arms all the way back slowly till your back arches then stretch your legs till your toes curl automatically. Then get out of the bed and put your hands on the back of your hips and arch backwards slowly, till you can see what's behind you. Then spread your legs slightly and squat like you're going to sit on a chair, but keep your hands on the back of your hips. Finally, stand straight with your legs still slightly apart and bring your foot up like you're going to kick your own behind, when it is high enough, put your hand on the foot and hold it near your butt for a few seconds. Release. Do the same for the other foot.
I think in a few days your body will stop hurting so much.
Also if you use the computer a lot, be sure to move and shake yourself every now and then, espy. the mouse hand.
