Drink 3 quarts of fluid a day to help flush it through. Take a non steroidal anti- inflammatory to help the tubes connected to the kidney push it through. Otherwise I know of no herbal medicine that would break it up.

If you find one, please let me know!
I just had a lithotripsy done in February! UGH!
It's not fun, but you will be asleep. All they do is lay you on this table with a crescent moon shape cut out of it. After you're "out" this green soccer ball looking thing inflates and the shockwaves are passed through it. It busts up the stones into very tiny pieces. You pee through a strainer for 2 weeks and collect the fragments to be analyzed and go for a follow up xray. That day was the only time that I really had any pain and it wasn't too bad. The worst part is having to pee in that stupid strainer.
Oh, and don't listen to that guy who says orange juice helps prevent stones...BS! Depending on which type you have, it can actually cause them! (Oxylate stones).
Good luck and don't be afraid...it's really not bad.

Homeopathic medicines may be utilized by naturopathic physicians to treat the pain and spasm associated with kidney stones. When treating the passage of a kidney stone with homeopathy, it is important to remember that the size of the stone must be small enough to pass without surgical intervention and that administration of the homeopathic medicine usually changes the clinical picture, which will then require a different remedy. Other therapies, such as herbal medicines, hot packs, and supplements, are sometimes used with homeopathy.
The following homeopathic remedies have been utilized by naturopathic physicians in treating a kidney stone:
* Berberis vulgaris–Indicated for sharp, stitching pains that radiate to the groin area and right-sided kidney stones.
* Cantharis–Indicated for urine that burns and is passed drop by drop.
* Colocynthis–Indicated for pain over the whole abdomen while urinating.
* Ocimum canum–Indicated for pain accompanied by nausea and vomiting.
* Pennyroyal–Indicated for frequent urination and left-sided ureter spasm or stone.
The standard dosage for acute symptom relief is 3 pellets of 30C every 4 hours until symptoms resolve. Lower potencies, such as 6X, 6C, 30X, may be given every 2 to 4 hours. Symptoms may improve shortly after the second dose. If there is no improvement after 3 doses, a different remedy is given. Note: Most homeopathic remedies are delivered in a pellet that has a lactose (milk sugar) base. Homeopathic liquid may be a better choice for those who are lactose intolerant.

No, unfortunately, there is no medicine to melt a kidney stone. The stone is actually a composition of Calcium deposits and other elements, and there's no way to dissolve it. However, there is an alternative to the once-used stone removal (which was VERY painful) and that is with laser. The laser is used to break the stone into bits -- to literally shatter it -- and the small grains can be expelled naturally, without the need for surgery. Kidney stones are probably one of the most excruciatingly painful ailments to have. I wish you luck in finding a way to get rid of them, and hope this information is helpful.

Nope. If it's too big to pass, they can break it up with ultra sound (non-invasive) but you're still peeing that sucker out.

Sorry you got two choices on getting rid of Kidney stones
1. let them pass naturally(a very painful option)
2. have the doctor shoot them with a laser(a very expensive option that the Dr will only do if you've tried to pass them naturally and after a good amount of time, they have not passed.)
I feel for you, I've been there and it hurts and nothing helps. GOOD LUCK!

Hi. Eat a lot of White Raddish. Its properties will help you in getting rid of the stones. Drink a lot of Water through out the day, as far as possible.
Avoid eating tomatoes with seeds and salty food including fish.
Cheers...

Sorry, no such luck.
My wife has them and I have had to carry her into the hospital
many times in the middle of the night for some intraveinous
pain relief.
It is said that drinking Cranberry juice and Lemonade on a daily
basis may reduce the liklihood of getting more stones.
Unfortunately, my wife does not like either one.
If you have them, good luck.

There is a solvent, BUT, to my knowledge, only used in case it is lodged in the kidney.
Been there done that.
My kidney was blocked. The location of the stone was found.
A shunt was placed into my kidney through my back. to the location A solution was injected into the shunt to my kidney. A slight burning sensation. The stone dissolved, but had it not, would have involved surgery. I had an open drain from my kidney for several days.

No. They can use treatments(laser and water shock) to break larger stones up but you still have to pass each fragment one chunk at a time. Surgery is also not a great option...every time you cut into a kidney it loses some functionality.

Mix extra virging olive oil... (cold pressed, so only extra virgin) and 100% lemon juice. Then drink it.... 100% apple cider vineger will also break up kidney stones. My mother had some that were the size of peas... the Doctors told her they would have to do surgery. She started drinking the vineger and passed them without knowing it. When she went back to the Doctor, they were gone.
