They both act different way, but the result is a hypnotized state of depression, good to you only if in small amount, and if you are a hyperactive motivated person.

I wouldn't do it if I were you, unless you want to die. Morphine mixed with *anything* would be bad, especially alcohol.

Do you mean taking Morphine and drinking alcohol or taking Morphine actually mixed with alcohol in it? I've never heard of the later... Drinking while on Morphine will make you puke, but Morphine will make you puke anyway if your not used to it. Never mix uppers and downers... what else... don't do drugs.

For the last 4 years or so I've been taking "avinza 120mg" (Time released Morphine Sulphate), so I know this from experience. It matters how much of a tolerance you have to the Morphine. What form of Morphine your on, and the dosage. Then, of course, how much alcohol you actually drink. Also, how much you weigh. How much time in between drinks, etc.. I can get away with a couple of shots of Tequila, maybe 3, in an hour, or so... But I'm 6'1", and weigh 200lbs and have a hell of a tolerance to opoids. If your going to do it; you'd best start slow, and find out how it affects YOU, and don't be surprised if you get sick and get a headache the first few times.. Just be careful; and do your homework before mixing any other drug with Morphine. A doctor is going to tell you not to do it at all, EVER! That's the best advice I can give you!
Good Luck!

Morphine ALONE is bad , unless you are using it for medical purposes .If you are not then i suggest professional help.( And why would you need to drink alcohol with Morphine in the first place? )

Alcohol will intensify the effect of the Morphine. If the Morphine dose is high, or the amount of alcohol consumed is high ( or both ) it can easily KILL a person!!
Morphine is ALWAYS supplied with a warning concerning alcohol. PAY ATTENTION to the warning! It could save your life!

taking almost any drug- with few exceptions- with alcohol is extremely bad. for example, drugs that slow down the nervous system- like a sleeping pill- are extremely intensified when taken with a depressant drink like alcohol, which also slows the nervous system. you shouldn't take any drug with alcohol unless your doctor makes it clear that it's ok- and only use Morphine for medical purposes under medical supervision.

Yes. Alcohol will dramatically increase the drowsiness and dizziness caused by Morphine and could cause a serious interaction. Is that your idea of "Alternative Medicine"?
