you'll just get really sleepy....don't take that many on a regular basis though....i was told by a doctor that taking that many is equivalent to taking a Demerol (over the counter pain med). |

Depends on the pain level and body weight but if it is something serious doc time. They can prescribe something to control the pain but read the instructions that is why they are there. Hope you feel better. |

I also take Aleve for chronic all over body pain, but never, never 4 at a time. 2 every 4 -6 hours with crackers to help aleviate the tummy and over all absorption with the meds. If you are in that much pain where you feel you need to take more I suggest a visit to your doctor for RX pain meds. Read the label and take on suggestion of. |

Doing that one time is fine, but you shouldn't keep doing it. |

Just doing it once in a while, chances are nothing will happen. If you do this repeatedly, like I spent last week doing in order to kill the pain of a toothache, you are going to end up with a very irritated stomach. No fun at all. Also, over using any over the counter medication can lead to liver failure. So be careful with it. Only do it, as I did, if it's absolutely necessary to get you through a painful time. And then think twice before you do. |

Depends on the milligrams of each individual pill. You should be fine, but don't make it a habit. |

Yes it's bad, I think the norm is 2 every 4-6 hours. If you are in that much pain, you should see a doctor. If you take more than what you're supposed to it could cause bad things to happen to your liver and you could die. Not that you would probably die just from taking 4 pills one time, but if you keep doing that you could. Be careful, it could cause other health problems. |

you should not take them at the same time. Read the bottle. You cant take that many especially if u hadnt had a meal recently. it eats away ur stomach line ing . And its harmful to your body to take that many at once |

Look at the maximum you can take in a 24 hour period<----It's printed on the box. This is how much you can take at one time! OTC drugs are very weak and it depends on the person how many to take at one time! As long as you don't go over the recommended dose in a 24 hour period you should be fine! |

take medication according to the bottle. There are some OTC medications that can cause real damage if taken wrong. For example (Tylenol aka Acetaminophen) can cause liver damage if you take too many, and it doesn't have to be over long period of time either. Just be careful. |

Taking more will not help but it will hurt your body. Tear up your stomach and damage your renal system (liver and kidneys.) So don't do it. Take the dose on the bottle. |
