I am a therapist of Indian head massage and clinical reflexology. There is no reason at all why you should not have Indian head massage during menstruation. It is a soothing and relaxing treatment, which can only benefit you.

Yes Indian Head massage is fine during menstruation, in fact it can help with PMT and general aches and pains you may experience at this time of the month. Be sure to drink plenty of water after and avoid alcohol, this will help to flush out the toxins released during the massage. If the therapist has an aromatherapy qualification, they can combine this with the head massage by blending an oil to use on you which will relieve menstrual cramps, bloating and generally uplift the mood.
