Your immune system is mainly in the intestinal flora. Take probiotics, eat whole foods.
Also, drink plenty of water, and think positive.
Http://www.wholepurefood.com watch the video "how to get fat without really trying" and this will educate you about nutrition.
Also http://www.mercola.com has a lot of natural health advice for building your immune system.
Mainly focus on eliminating processed foods, especially sugar, from your diet. This will do the most for building your immune system. Sugar destroys your immune system.

There is no such thing as boosting your immune system. You get vaccines, but they just prepare you by forcing your body to make antibodies for that particular disease. No. But just stay healthy, wash your hands, etc. and you don't need to worry.

A healthy diet helps with plenty of fruit and vegetables for antioxidants and enzymes that you need for good health.
A Multivitamin every day will help and also taking 1 or 2 gm of vitamin C every day.
Garlic is a very good immune system booster and is very good for people with sinus problems. It is both an Antibacterial agent and an antimicrobial agent. Taking 6 high strength odourless 3,000 mg garlic Oil capsules (Herron) every day will really help.
As far as I know you cannot get an injection to boost your entire immune system. Some people get an annual flu injection to boost their resistance to flu viruses but that is not a boost for your entire immune system.

Absolutely probiotics and fermented food; also medicinal mushrooms like Reishi and others. Liquid mushroom extracts are best and especially those that are fermented because they should contain the living mycellia part of the mushroom, not just the fruit bodies. Medicinal mushrooms act like flora in the body. They are intelligent living organisms and increase natural killer cells and are highly recommended for people with comprised immunity. Astragalus (chinese medicine) is also used for deep immune support but is contraindicated in the presence of an acute infection.

There is no shot to boost your immune system, but if you are run down you should begin by starting a regimen of vitamins recommended by your doctor. He may want to give you a B-12 shot. You must start a balanced diet. If you are anemic, your doctor may order iron supplements for you to take until your blood gets built back up. You need to eat all the foods on the food chart and add some antioxidant foods and drinks, like Green Tea, or black tea, a cup of coffee, a glass of red wine daily. Eat dark green vegetables and lots of fruit. Eat lean protein unless you are a vegetarian, in which case you should eat lots of beans and tofu products. Eat fortified cereals with low sugar content and high fiber. Exercise and research other ways to stay healthy. Good luck and God Bless!
