You poor thing! I imagine you must be feeling terribly betrayed. Violence is never the right answer but I remember my hormones getting the better of me when I was pregnant, and Cheating is never the right answer either. My heart goes out to you!
I think icing the red marks on his face is the best method of treatment. Some Advil might help as well, to reduce swelling. I think the marks will go away pretty soon after wards. I hope that your boyfriends actions don't make permanent marks on your relationship.

While I don't condone violence I am surprised that you only stopped at a slap. If I was pregnant and betryaed that way while carrying his child I would have given him more to try and hide. I'd say let the bugger where it and when people ask him he will have to be honest before he gets another. But, in the meantime I would put some ice on it. Not much else you can do.

You don't need to do anything. He got what was coming to him. However I would seriously consider how slapping him will resolve your jealously. And will your unborn child benefit from the rage? Your looking for a bandage to a more serious problem. Why are you trying to hid the truth about your unfaithful friend? You might consider trimming your finger nails before the next fight, hopefully after the baby is born.

Arnica cream available from the health food store. It's used for bruises. This might help. Also, please find someone to talk to about this. Violence is never the answer. It is even worse when a pregnancy or child is involved. Not trying to preach, just concerned. Good luck and please get help.

Hon, it sounds like you may have been the one who got slapped, and not the one who did the slapping. Otehrwise, you wouldn't have such a need to get rid of the marks so quickly with makeup.....if the marks are on him, he is the one that would be dealing with it.
You should really call one of those violence hotlines. They can help you out. They listen, do not judge, and will help you find the best way out of your current situation.
