Dee	There are two different kinds of swab tests. One has a longer detection time and takes longer to get the results back (since it's sent off premises for a special test). But the more common swab test gives immediate results and has a detection time of about 24hrs, especially if you clean your mouth REALLY good. Probably no way to know which kind of test you're getting, but the one with the shorter detection time is cheaper to administer, so that's why it's used more often. The odds are in your favor there. Brush & floss like you never have in your life. Rinse your mouth very good with Hydrogen Peroxide. Don't swallow it, obviously, but a small amount won't harm you. It's basically flavorless. Then rinse with a non-alcoholic Mouthwash. Just before you go in, do another quick rinse & spit with the Hydrogen Peroxide. For a swab test, disregard all the advice about water flushing, vitamin C, etc. That only helps with urine tests.

adayandforeverband	I once pass a drug test for marijuana having smoked one or two days before and I drank over a gallon of water in one night and took a lot of vitamin C. I also took some otc diuretic which I can't remember the name because it was for bloating or something which I don't get. But I wasn't regularly smoking and it was in only a moderate amount. If you have smoked more than a few times over the last week, expect to fail. In moderation marijuana can clear your system in a week or less in excessive amounts it will take up to a month. I don't know about a swab test though that sounds like you are screwed but I don't know. Maybe drink some alcohol?

dartagnon p	The following info was for a person that is being tested in 2 weeks. Tomorrow makes it REALLY tough ... and painful :-( b/c the Vitamin C route and a detox kit is prb the only way to get your stats down but I must say that you might flunk. You usually need at least 2 days and a week is better. I tried to get it out of my system for a test that was in two days but it was my probie officer and it turns out that I kinda flunked but there is ALWAYS something in your body that will trip the urine test and he used that excuse to give me a test 30 days later and then I passed. He was nice to me anyway so I lucked out actually. But if you wanna give it a try go with the Vitamin C and detox kit as described below. But you will have fluids flushing out of every opening in your body so be prepared for "the flush". This can be easy for you if you are willing to cheat a little, or not. If you want to do it on your own you can take large doses of vitamin C. You'll need the powder form and you'll need to take about 8000 mg or so. It tastes majorly rasty so you'll want to either hold your nose and down it in a big gulp or try to flavor it. The next problem is that it will FLUSH your entire system like you've never experienced before. You will feel sick. You will barf and get the runs and flush everything in your body. Stay near a bathroom for a few hours until the flushing has passed but it might take some time so be prepapred. Also drink tons of water ... a gallon or so ... but take the water gradually because too much water all at once can KILL you ... yes ... it can. So if you start to feel sick from drinking too much water ... stop ... wait til you feel good again and then drink some more. You can do this up to 3 days before the test but with only 1 day it will lower your levels but you may not pass totally. Next, you can go to a head shop and get a de-tox kit. These do not work 100% but with the Vitamin C regimen it should help. Ignore the following. I just noticed that it's a swab test. There is a kit at the head shops for a swap test but I do not know the particulars about it. A good head shop should be able to give you the kit you need for the swab test. Make sure their eyes are glazed so you know you're talking to someone who "knows" :-) Ignore the following ...for urine tests only! The following is the ONLY way to pass tomorrow for sure! If you live in SoCal you can go to Venice Beach and hit up a head shop there ... they all have these. You can also find it in MOST head shops throughout the country if they are worth anything. But it might cost you about $40 or so, up to $100 depending on how greedy the owner of the shop is. The final solution is to get a Neutral Urine Kit. It might have a different name but the guy behind the counter should be able to help you if it 's a head shop. The kit will include a bag of "urine" that is neutral but has all the ingredients that the lab will be looking for to know that it's real. There will also be a warmer device of some kind but if you put the bag between your legs for a while before you take the test the temp should be high enough. It will need to be close to 98.6. You can usually tape the bag to your inner thigh and there should be a spout of some kind on it so that you can pop the top and "pee" into the cup and since it's insurance they will leave you in the stall by yourself and won't be watching so you have some leeway. They WILL tell you to empty your pockets when you go in so don't carry it there. But strap it to your leg somehow or tape it. Marijuana tests test for a certain ingredient that is in weed but it is also a natural occurring component of your body so there will ALWAYS be a certain amount of this in your system whether you are straight or not. If you do NOT smoke a lot ... like once or twice a week and you don't get knocked down wasted then you can prb pass the test without anything else. But it's not like you'll be going to jail if you flunk as is the case if it were the courts or a probie officer or something like that. If you live in California you can get a marijuana license but some companies will ignore that since it is still against federal law. If you do live in CA and need to know what doctor to see for the "letter" let me know. But you also will need a medical reason ... unless you can get to San Diego and then you just have to complain that you're stressed and that you need it to control the stress. I have the doctors name and phone number down there. Good luck ... we're all toking a fatty in your honor :-) If this is for the gov't ... probie etc ... you should probably confess that you were at a party last Saturday and a bunch of your firends used peer pressure to "force" you to smoke but you tried to keep it to a minimum so you might pass ... but then again you might not. Ask him / her if you can get a 30 days extension if you flunk and promise that the next test will be super clean. If you are up front and honest and they aren't targeting you they will prb let you slide a little. If it's for work you might fill out some more resumes today and email them quickly but choose contractors who can't afford the cost of the drug tests and don't really care anyway. Or apply at a head shop :-) I used to have a motorcycle shop and our drug test was "Do you smoke weed?" Yes? Good! You're hired. Spark up! :-) Good luck.

T L	Plan on failing. Why would you smoke when you knew you had a test tomorrow? As if smoking wasn't dumb enough...I think you just topped it.

DeEnEr	swab test is one of the most accurate tests, besides the hair test.there isnt much u can do to pervent testing positive with a swab test. good luck tho!!

jackie =)	lots of water just to be on the safe side...if you were smoking pot (which i assume you were) it will show up...so detox with lots of water.... good luck!
