The only alternative to a condom is NOT HAVING SEX. If you aren't going to wear a condom, its not worth it. Don't give yourself the chance of getting anything and others definitely don't deserve to get anything. Don't think about short term "oh it won't feel as good" think about long term...yeah ya know when you die in 10 years because you have aids.

Nobody likes wearing condoms, but it is better than the alternatives. Pregnancy, STD, etc.

Make the condom part of foreplay. You need to change your attitude about condoms. It's in your better interest to be comfortable with condoms.
I've never understood anyone's reluctance to use condoms!

There are many types of condoms to assure intensity and sensitivity. Maybe you need to try a different type. There is nothing other than abstinence that can ensure freedom of std's.

Well, the only thing I could say is to take some form of birth control (pills, patch, shot, etc.) and to make sure he uses the rhythm method.

Go get a vasectomy and get a good supply of antibiotics for the sexually transmitted diseases.
Come on! If a condum turns you off, think how badly it will turn of women when they find out you have herpes or are HIV positive because you didn't practice safe sex.
