Same here. I have difficulty swallowing pills. It's really silly if you think about it because i am sure you've swallowed larger chunks of food. I just crush it up..or take large gulps of water.

drink it with milk, and when you swallow it, you should place your head down (so you are looking at the floor)
this way, the pill will float in the water (or whatever you are swallowing it with) and will rise to the back of your throat.

I can't either:( I get something to eat and chew it up, then stick the pill in the chewed up food then swallow all of it. Iv'e been doing that forever!

Here is how I do it, and it's pretty easy.
Stick the pill onto the tounge of your mouth.
Fill your mouth up with a medium amount of water.
Drink the water, and you'll find out that you swallowed the pill too.

I use to have this problem.. my mom gave me a bag of M&Ms since they have that smooth outter layer.. and she had me swallow em with water as a chaser.. it worked while she was watching..but i was very tempted to chew em :-) then i realized if you put a pill on your tongue, and you take a big gulp of water you won't even feel the pill go down

Fold the pill into a slice of cheese and then just eat the cheese. Works every time!

I understand how you feel, because I can't swallow pills either..never could. Most of the time I take liquid medicine, or deal with the pain (which I don't recommend). I bought a pill crusher, so that my pill is cut in half which makes it a lot easier. I noticed that the pill goes down easier with soda because of the bubbles. K, good luck! ;)

put the pill in water and just try your hardest to down it. But some people are affraid to swollow pills and have to inject them, like my science teacher.

If you don't swallow too many pills at once and not very often, the simplest way is to go to a drug store (or Wal-mart) and buy a pill crusher. Coming from a paramedic, crushing a pill will not effect the drug at all. Some pills may not taste as good, but like I said, if its only one or two pills at a time, it shouldn't be too bad.
