ckngbbbls	dab apple cider vinegar on it often to cool and soothe. sounds weird but feels good and you get to smell like a salad!! Someone told me it corrects the PH balance of the burnt skin I don't know if that is true, just know it helps. also aloe vera gel. If you have an aloe plant, cut off a leaf, slit it open and apply the gel directly to the burn. Very good for this. i was told once that commercial preparations of aloe products are no good because processing destroys the good effect but again, I use the real deal and never buy the store stuff. Sadiebear	Aloe plant...people even put aloe plant in creams for sunburns at the store. They are not uncommon at places where plants are sold. Break off a part of the plant and rub the "sap" on the burn. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

virginia b	I very rarely have get sunburned but when I do have skin that is sunburned. I use only pure aloe vera that I squeezed from an aloe vera plant. I know that not everyone can have an aloe vera plant. If you do not have an aloe vera plant, i would try to use an all natural aloe vera, one that does not any unnecessary ingredients which can aggravate the sunburned skin. I will also suggest that you drink plenty of fluids. I would also try consuming aloe vera internally as well. You could try using an ozonated olive oil to speed up the healing process. angel_nurse82	I've heard vinegar is very cooling. Just don't use anything greasy, (like petroleum-based products) as it will hold the heat in and cause the burn to worsen. The best thing I've found is aloe vera gel or solarcaine. Solarcaine helps numb it for a while. Good luck!!! Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

wendogscreate	I HAVE TWO REMEDIES THAT WORK GREAT, THE FIRST IS EASIEST, HOWEVER THEY BOTH WORK! CUT SOME ALOE VERA (VERY COMMON CACTUS TYPE PLANT) AND RUB THE WET PART ON THE SUNBURN. THE SECOND IS TO RUN A LUKE WARM BATH AND POUR VINEGAR IN IT (ABOUT 16 OZS. SOAK FOR 20 MIN. (THE ACID FROM THE VINEGAR PULLS THE BURN OUT). Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

MtnHarmony	I am pale and burn easily! The last times I was scalded I tried various treatments. What I have found to work best is Vinegar!!! Keep spraying it on unto the burn stops hurting. Can do this for several hours if you need to. THis worked the fastest for me. It was the cheapest and easiest. I normally hurt and sting for days but not when using vinegar. It feels good on the skin too. I have also heard and seen that Milk of Magnesium works wonders but you will end up looking white and crusty which is why I have never tried it. My friends sweared by it- that was B4 I knew of vinegar. Aloe helps but not as well. As far as vinegar goes you MUST apply it to clean skin. You can NOT try anything else first or it will not be as affective. No lotions, aloe, etc first. And keep using it until it stops burning. I have mixed lavendar with my Vinegar but I can't remember if that helped or not. I know it smelled better. In fact, I am going to the beach next weekend and ALL I will be taking for burns is vinegar. Might give it a try in a bath tub. Never done that B4. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No
