judith r	Keep taking your meds. It could take up t o a month for them to work well enough to get your count back down. High white count means you probably have some kind of an infection or virus. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Tuppence	It takes time for prescribed medication to start working. See the course through to the end and you should start to feel better. Icreased white cell count is normally due to infection or virus. Your probably feeling tired because your body is spending all it's energy fighting what ever it is. mrangelosd	i have higher white cells blood level for like 2 years or more, and all is ok for me, if you need more energy i would advice you to do some sports and start eating better food, less salt, and it should be fresh not frozen, eat fish, fruits and vegetables, potatoes are not so much useful so you can skip them, eat chease and yogurts, eggs from time to time, and find a girlfriend or boyfriend whatever your preferences are Was this answer helpful to you? cwenui	Since you have this under alternative medicine, the first thing you need to know is that the white cell count is indicative of a virus or some other type of infection that you are fighting off. If you want to see an alternative medicine person I recomend an acupuncturist. They have points you can hit to help boost your imune system and they can help determine where the infection is. R	The white count is probably just a symptom. The question is, why is it elevated? Once you know that, you can look for treatments for the underlying problem.... diehard311fan	A white count of 14 is not that high, the range is 4-10. It is a sign of infection. Keep on the meds and you should feel better. If possible exercise and you should feel energized. Good Luck Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

murph's law	Usually when your white cell count is up it means you are fighting an infection Find out what type of infection you have, go to a different Doc. You may need some other type of meds. maybe what your GP prescribed wasn't strong enough. There are also homeopathic cures you could try if you find out what your illness is.
