I did it once but it was not very good. The hypnotist was a woman and she told me off for not concentrating.

yeah, I think so. I'm staring at this monitor and drinking beer. Seriously, I have never allowed myself to be hypnotized. I can't even allow it if I try. What is wrong with me?

I have been a couple of times.
I have always been a born volunteer for any stage act, holiday camp act etc. just for laughs.
When I was about 18 (I'm now 65) I went on stage in a local theatre and was hypnotised and did all the usual silly things, my favourite being when the hypnotist said that when I woke up, I would look into the audience and see my favourite female film star, run down and kiss her, I can still remember that.
Also he asked for one of the volunteers to help in a publicity stunt in town the next day (Saturday), I again volunteered, and was put in a trance in a double bed, in a shop window of a local furniture shop in the high street.
I spent all afternoon asleap, I was then taken by ambulance to the theatre and woken up on stage to huge applause and a good laugh was had by all.

not so much a trance. I was at a comedy club and a hypnotist came and I volunteered to be hypnotized. He made us do silly things, and for some of these things I was hypnotized, but for alot of them I was just playing along so he didn't look like an ***. However, the parts I was hypnotized for were pretty cool...
