Drug test.. which drugs?

i know the urine test test for weed but wut else do they usually test for when they drug test u for a job...

shibity	They test you for all types of drugs. Any type of narcotic will show up. But marijuana will stay in your system the longest. It will stay in your urine for up to a month. Where as Cocaine will be out of your system in 24 hours.
jessicaannjiles	I think a urinalysis tells them what makes up your pee. it's not that they test for x, y, or z, it's that they see what makes up your pee and if there are metabolized byproducts of Cocaine heroin any of the -pin, -dine, or -zine family whatever it may show up if it is more than a trace amount which for Cocaine is three days and weed is thirty
webdoggy2	A pre employment drug screen will usually check for Pot, Cocaine, Opiates, such as heroin, Morphine, Codeine, and Valium. The tests are pretty sophisticated these days and are hard to beat.

John N	if it's a basic urine test for a basic hourly job weed is pretty much it. It still will help if you drink A LOT of Cranberry juice prior to flush your system, or you could drink even more water. I believe 5 gallons the day before is enough. I'm not kidding. if they follicle test you you're pretty much screwed though.

Foo Foo Girl	I think they also test for alcohol and they can test for Nicotine too, but I don't know if they do. I'm sure these illegal drug tests probably include meth, Cocaine, crack, heroine and so forth.

JustLookinAround	My husband had to take one last week. He takes amphetamines for ADD. He showed the testing nurse his prescription bottle. The nurse said, "Don't worry about it, that won't show up". It was an instant test and it did not show up. I'm sure if do the blood drawn test, almost everything will show up. I took one a year ago for a new job. I had just had surgery the week before and had tons of stuff in my system from the surgery. They told me just to note the surgery on the paperwork and any painkillers that I had to take. They said that as long as you write down anything you have taken(legal stuff, I'm sure)they don't worry about it if it shows up in the testing.
