no it ain't true for one reason its salt!!! to much salt is hazardous for your body, that could really rip away a few years from drinking some well mixed salt water, when the water is not see through

i've only heard salt water be used for gargling when nursing a sore throat, but never to swallow.

i've swallowed salty sea water before and it made my stomach hurt.

I think you would do much better by learning to eat more alkaline foods and cut down on the acid ones like soda pop, fried and junk foods.

Check out the sites as my sources.

No. That would be vinegar you need to drink, and that is really for gastric problems.

it has been said to do that. but my good guy friend used to do that all the time. he had a hernia he did not know about and they said he retained way too much water. gave him water pills to take. so be careful with the water weight gain.

Salt draws water molecules to itself. That makes it a better remedy for constipation than for diarrhea. I do not know if it would help your upset stomach. I wouldn't use it.

Black or Green Tea are good for upset stomach (unless caused by acidity) or diarrhea.

Ginger is good for nausea.
