Does anyone have any suggestions for quiting smoking other then the patch or gum? what has worked for you?

La-z Ike	all you have to do is start chewing. You'll never smoke again. You will have to quit chewing however. Lots easier than quitting smoking. Brush your teeth often. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Patti C	Sucking on Cinnamon candy helped as much as the patch or gum. It is very hard to quit. I couldn't do it cold turkey. I had to taper off. Good luck to you. I hope you make it. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

kathy_is_a_nurse	If you want a lot of tips, trying buying the book, "The No Nag, No Guilt, Do It Your Own Way Guide to Quitting Smoking" by Tom Ferguson. It's in paperback...so its cheap...and it is simply full of ideas for how to quit. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

duc602	they have a shot now that they give you behind the ear and it guarantees you to quit. its real expensive. im not talking about a bullet either lol. i quit cold turkey . i had lung cancer they removed my right lung i had no other choice but quit. but before i used the gum the patches. the patches workes but when i ran out i usually didnt have the money to buy more. soi would go back to smoking. so last time i said cold turkey and thats what i did . been 4 yrs. i have a great site you need to check into it will help you. its www.whyquit.com.wish you the best Was this answer helpful to you? breeze1	Wellbutrin, or Zyban. It comes in generic so it's not that expensive. Cheaper than cigarettes. And you can continue to smoke while taking it until you gradually phase out smoking. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No
