after he talked to you like that you stayed???? There is no such thing as a shot for dehydration...if you were dehydrated you would of had to be fixed up with an IV...you think that a little shot would rehydrate you? Have some common sense if you do not take care of your body then who is? I would most certainly report your doctor and I would get a new one. No medical professional has the right to degrade you like that, some think they can and nobody reports them so they keep on doing it..think of all the other girls you could help by doing this..he won't know who reported him!!!

well most shots are given in the butt...but he was extremely rude and should be reported to your state board and reprimanded......and do not go see him again.....dehydrated means that you need to drink lots of water because there isnt enough water in your body....

No, I don't think the doctor should be able to do that. You should check-up own that because I think he was wrong and rude.

Sounds like he did it just to get a look at your butt. I'm being serious. That wasn't right at all. I would file a complaint and/or sue for sexual harassment.

1) Wrong that he said that to you.
2) Could have just told you to drink more water.
3) A shot wasn't needed, especially there. I'm sure the arm would have been just fine.
4) Could he also have been trying to get more money by giving you the shot? It was, completely unneeded. He could have given you a cup of water and gotten a better effect, as I'm sure a cup or more of water would have been more than one shot of it.

You never mentioned what your symptoms were. The only reason I can think of your getting the shot would be for vomitting ( it will dehydrate you), and it was a shot of finegrin. It numbs an upset stomach to calm the nasea. Also, if you were dizzy and dehydrated, a doctor will administer the same for precaution to keep you from vomiting. How much you drink does not mean that's how much your body would retain. As far as his tone and the words he chose, there he was wrong. The rest he was probably correct. If you were dehydrated too much he would have put you on an IV. My opinion is that the shot was a precaution to save you the burden of an IV.
