Eye floaters tend to be blood cells or plasma in the eye floating around freely. If you have had damage to your eyes or had serious stress then after a while they will stop being a problem. If to you they are a big problem, you need to see an opthamologist.
The brain itself interprets electical signals sent from the eyes. The brain has the power to "ignore" the floaters as long as you dont try to pay them any attention.
The one natural remedy I suggest is Bilberry pills or extract.
Bilberry is often said to improve night vision, and their are stories told of RAF pilots in World War II using Bilberry for that purpose.
Studies have shown that Bilberry can reduce or reverse effects of degenerative eye disorders such as macular degeneration.
It may have other beneficial effects on capillaries due to the strong antioxidant properties of its anthocyanidin flavonoids.

Nope... but if they change suddenly see a doctor ASAP...
I've had them for years - annoying yup.
If they bother you try moving them by head/eye movements and float them to a less visible place... looking down and then up usually does the trick for me.

They are s l o w l y absorbed but if you eyes are creating them faster than you can get rid of them they will increase until they must be removed surgically. my dad underwent floater suction surgery, it looked very uncomfortable but he can see again from his right eye.

I have quite a few and yes, they're annoying. Dr. said nothing can solve the problem, but eventually you will learn to look past them. Just concentrate on what you're looking at, instead of the floaters. If they suddenly get bad, get a checkup to make sure nothing serious is going on.

No. They're always there. I don't really think about them like this either. If yours are driving you nuts you should call your doctor.

I had the same problem and my eye doctor claims and it was true for me, i guess, that after awhile you brain and eye gets use to them and you don't see them anymore. I thought it was a bunch of bull but after months and months of seeing floaters, and it is annoying, they were gone, so I figured it was either coincidence or it was true.

From my own experiance, eye floaters never really go away. they just move out of your line of vision.

I have floaters in my eyes, but I am not worried about them. I only notice them sometimes, so they don't bother me.
I don't think there is anything you can do for them. But if they get worse, you should ask your eye doctor about them.

I too used to struggle with eye floaters, but for the most part, I have learned to live with them. I remember doing extensive research on things I could do to get rid of the little pests, but found that there is really nothing that can be done unless you want to pay a ton of cash to have them removed by laser surgery and risk losing your vision. As far as herbal treatment goes, I've heard mixed reviews, mostly bad. Your best option would be to just accept the fact that they are not going to go away and to learn to live with them. Thats what I've done, and they really don't bother me anymore. There are a lot of websites out there that are very informative that you might want to check out, but in the meantime, do what you can to just ignore your eye floaters. They will eventually stop bothering you if you just learn to see past them. May God's peace be with you.
