Will it work to clear up your skin? Yes it will, I would also like to think being 15 you pretty much eat and drink whatever you want, I did at 15.
Your colon works with your gall bladder as well as your kidneys to help break down foods, drinks and other we put into our bodies. Acne is nothing more than our bodies having troubles detoxing what we put into ourselves.
A colon cleanse will help, Also would a liver and bladder cleans as well if not more.
At 15 lets try something safe and easy you can do to clean out your insides.
Have your mom buy fresh lemons and limes. Juice these guy's and add to filtered water bottles. Make your own lemon or lime aid.
Lemons and limes are the two best cleaners out there. They start as a acid food source which once broke down turn to an alkaline source which help with acne.
Give it try for awhile and see what happens, it's safe and easy. You may want to also try eating some yogurt everyday to help balance the bacteria in your digestive tract.

The only reason why I would see this helping your acne would be because toxins from your colon could be clogging pores (or at leas that's what I read), but that has to be impossible.
If that is the case then just try a more natural cleanse using a clean healthy diet. Using colon cleansers that are most likely harsh fibers can ruin your colon and leave you with PERMANENT damage.

There are all sorts of products out there labelled as "colon cleanse" - some are great and some are just glorified laxatives. You want to be careful and follow the directions on the package. Usually they will say Start with two capsules, or Take 4 per day unless stool is unusually loose, then reduce to 3, and so forth. Laxatives can make your body dependent on them for regular bowel movements and then you're in trouble.
That said, if you are toxic, live in the city, work in a polluted environment and/or eat a lot of junk food, cleansing can help with skin eruptions. The skin is one of the body's ways to get rid of toxins. Renew Life makes a good cleanse that is safe for teens, plus they have a 1-800 number where you can call with questions about the product. Read about it here: http://www.renewlife.com/cleansing/FirstCleanse.aspx If you click on the "Product Spec Sheet" you will get a PDF that tells the ingredients.
Some herbs that help clear skin are Burdock root (a blood cleanser) and Chickweed. Chickweed is safe and inexpensive and has a good reputation for external and internal use for all sorts of skin problems.
At your age, probably your hormones are fluctuating as you grow into adult hormonal rhythms. vitex (Agnus castus) berry is wonderful for stabilizing raging hormones. It works for men or women. Available in extract, either liquid or capsules. I highly recommend you try it.

Hi TImothy
Here are some other ideas to help you with your acne as well. COngrats on taking control of your health. You might not be perfect after a cleanse, but pay attention to the list below and you'll not only look better, but be a lot healthier!
If your colon is bunged up, it can start to cause all sorts of health problems in the body. Eat lots of fruit and veg, include plenty of fiber in your diet and the colon cleanse will be more effective now and in the future ones.
1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water, herbal tea or unsweetened juice each day
2. Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper
3. Eat every two hours, by having healthy snacks in between meals. Eating frequently increases your metabolism.
4. Eat lots of fruit and veg.
5. When having potatoes, rice or pasta, just have a small portion.
1) Eat at least 5 servings of different fruits and vegetables every day. Don't eat any junk/snack type food until you've had at least 5 fruits/vegetables.
2) Stick to whole, unprocessed foods such as whole grains, beans, fruits, vegetables, nuts. As much as you can, try to eat foods that don't have a brand name! So, for example, eat oatmeal (you can buy oats in the bulk bin of most grocery stores) instead of Honey Bunches of Oats.
3) Eliminate partially hydrogenated oil and high-fructose corn syrup completely.
4) Drink a gallon of water instead of soda. If you really want juice, make it a nutritious juice, such as orange juice. Apple and grape juices have very little in the way of nutrients.
5) Minimize animal products (dairy and meat), especially fatty ones, as much as possible.
6) Colon cleanse every quarter to remove excess waste and toxins out of the body.
Best of health to you

Don't listen to the guy above me. It seems he is a paid
agent of these drug industry to pull people from taking
health in their own hands. You don't need a dermatologist
for acne. Please remember at your age hormone are
going wild inside you which is the cause for acne. So how
do you tackle them. Get regular exercise if nothing atleast
walk three kilometres daily. Consume more if fruits and
vegetables. Also consume grounded flax seeds and add
it to your morning smoothies which will go a long way in
colon cleansing. I know at your age you want to look acne
free so you are hell bent on doing colon cleanse. Do it but
remember it is your hormones which are playing havoc at
the moment so just follow what I have said and do not
bother about these paid agents of the drug industry whose
only aim is to keep people from following alternative
theraphy. Ofcourse when it suits them they also recommend
Mineral Oil as laxatives when they should be suggesting
surgery - anyway just ignore the guy above me and
Good luck.

Colon Cleansing is not recommended for teenagers, instead try ACNEFREE, bought in bulk at BJ's/Sams Club is best, its only 20 bucks a pack and it lasts me about 5 months, even though its a "3 month pack". Its generic ProActive.

Colon cleanses are generally more important for older people (since a lot more junk has accumulated in the colon). You're still young, so it doesn't have that much of a point to being done.
From experience I have found the following matter with acne.
#1 Apply lavendar oil to the acne. It does a better job than anything you'll buy in the drugstore. Hydrogen Peroxide can work as well, but it's a bit more difficult to use correctly.
#2 Diet wise, cutting out sugar (and artificial sweeteners) makes a huge huge difference, this was what did the trick for me. Greasy fatty fried foods also contribute to acne but not as much. Basically, the more vegatables you eat (like brocolli) and the less junk you have, the more acne drops.
#3 No hair on face. I didn't know why this worked till I talked to a doctor about it, but basically the hair gets inside the skin just from rubbing against it and causes acne to form.
#4 If you have chronic acne problems for a long time, it may mean its a sign you have a problem inside your body that hasnt been adressed. A good friend of mine had awful acne on his nose for years that never went away, and one day we tested him for sinusitus (which he had, pretty badly). After a few months, when the sinus's were cleared out, the acne went away, and has not returned.
Hope that helps!
*and ignore everything kalos says :P
