I like Green Tea. But for a sore throat, why don't you get Zicam and drink a lot of gaiter aid and citrus. Tangerine juice is the best.

Nobody can give you an answer as to what tea tastes best. For that answer, you will have to find on your own. But I think the best MAKER of teas is Mighty Leaf. They are a little bit pricier (About $9) but they are whole leaf teas that are sold in individual tea bags, that are a bit oversized to let the tea unfurl. They are delicious, you wont be sorry. They are like the cream of the crop of mass produced teas. For a cold I would recommend their Chamomile Citrus because it has a lot of natural vitamin C, and the Rose Hips will help reduce the severity of your symptoms. If your looking for a tea to help your sore throat. Try Slippery Elm tea (Mighty Leaf doesnt make). This will reduce and calm the irritated tissues. Good luck!!

PS: Mighty Leaf can be found at Whole foods and other finer grocery stores!

Alright.. I have a couple of relatively easy and excellent tasting blends for sore throats and boosters.

First off.. Go to the supermarket or wherever and buy a hand of Ginger.

Get loose leaf hibiscus tea.

Loose leaf Chamomile and/or Chrysanthemum.

And finally lemons, oranges, and some cloves.. Rose Hips if you like.. But be careful with those.

Now get a water pitcher for iced tea or even a thermos, fill it with cold water and dump in the hibiscus petals. Add Rose Hips if you like. Let sit till the water is a fine and dark ruby color and then drink.

The other blend will require you to take a knuckle of Ginger, grind it up, dice it up, or whatever so long as its not whole anymore. Then add an equal part of chrysanthemum and/or Chamomile. Then take out your lemon and dice it up.. Or take a cheeze grater and remove a good bit of the rind.. Same with the orange. Add as much of this as suits your taste.. The orange (As a warning) Can come out a bit strong in my experiance and might require some experimenting. Now add a dash of cloves to your blend there and get a pot of icy cold water to a boil. Then add your blend and let steep for five or seven minutes. Remove the mess inside and add honey to taste. Enjoy, your sore throat is gonna go bye bye and it tastes wonderful. Honey is also delightful for the hibiscus tea, even cold.

Lemon Zinger, or Raspberry Zinger. These are awesome, and taste like candy! Just add lemon and honey, less lemon to the lemon flavored tea, and you'll love 'em!!! Honey is reportedly better for you than cough Syrup when your sick, and lemon has tons of vitamin C. Most grocery stores stock these, and you can also find them at health food stores. You can use a bag for a whole pot, or a bag per cup depending on how strong you like it. :) Enjoy

chamomile is really nice. some brands make cold care tea for sore throats, too. go to a health food store and ask.

i like red rose lipton tea. Green Tea is good too. You could put some honey in it too, because it helps your throat. when i have a really sore throat i sometimes just take a spoon and eat honey out of the jar. Sounds gross, but it helps a lot.

For tea, hmm... Teas not only make your throat feel better but some of them also can pretty much heal also. If I were you, I would take some jasmine tea, because it tastes good with make teaspoon of sugar (or two) or I would recommend that you take some earl grey tea because that hits the spot. :-)

Try a tea with honey and lemon in it. Or get those sachets of cold and throat hot drinks. You can get honey and blackcurrent. Theyre kinda yummy in a paracetamolly way!!!!
