Hi I am a massage therapist, Reiki & Seichim master, crystal therapist & intuitive healer
Hands Of Light, by Barbara Ann Brennan is pretty good but a little long winded,
Energy Healing for beginners is also a good read by Ruth White
there is plenty of information on the web about Chakras if you learn about the 7 main energy centres it definately helps
Your Inner Physician & You is about craniosacral therapy which is really interesting, but best of all is to practise , practise , practise, energy healing is so fascinating I have felt things such as cancers on ovaries, indigestion, organ problems, migranes, you can feel every dis ease in the aura if you are aware of how to feel it...
Good luck, Hope this helps
PS anything by Sanaya Roman is also a good read (more spiritual than healing books though)

Hi Lynne, nice to meet you buddy..... yes i am a healer .... i'm studying to be a naturopath ........ naturopathic physicians practice natural medicine using a variety of healing techniques, including nutritional supplementation, herbal medicine and homeopathy....... it is a complementary and alternative medicine which emphasizes the ability of the body to heal and maintain itself ........... to heal oneself considering lifestyle, environmental and food factors is my nirvana♥

I have so many books i couldn't possibly pick one to be the best but one that does leap out at me is a book by Richard N.Ash. M.D. called "What your Doctor may NoT tell you about IBS" ........ it pretty much explains in graphic detail how to conquer your food allergies and intolerances and live a painfree and drug free life ............ in other words, IBS is just another b.s. label for a collection of intolerances and symptoms that were simply too much hard work ........... i'm highly intolerant to wheat, Soy and lactose ....... also fruits high in sugar give me ghastly aches and pains ........... hence my liking for the book ......... as they say, you are what you eat ...... i reckon it should be you are what you digest ...... ;0)

peace 2 u mate

cheers

For REIKI .. the very best books are by Frank A. Petter.. The original Handbook of Dr. Usui and The Hayashi handbook. They are great. Frank Petter lived in Japan with his Japanese Wife so they researched all the history and found many changes.
EFT is great and you can get the DVD's teaching you more about it on their website. The DVD's are rather long and sometimes boring, however it helps you practice and after you have seen the routine a few dozen times you totally can do it.
Go to my website and you can get a whole list of books under my recommended reading. http://www.reiksanantonio.com

1) The Fourfold Path to Healing by Thomas Cowan, MD (anthroposophical medicine, with sections on causes of disease, and the need for animal food and healthy fats, which are amongst the BEST I have ever read, and which I have seen discussed almost nowhere else.) Best new book on healing I've read in the last decade or more
2) You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay (her affirmations and the chart in the back of the book that discusses the emotional and spiritual causes of disease are so right-on that a) I have multiple copies, and give this as a gift to friends dealing with healing crises, and b) I rarely bother to look anywhere else b/c she is so incredibly right-on and accurate. If you are a healer, this chart alone can save you MONTHS or even years of working with a person on their issues, and with what is currently going on in the world right now, I am unclear that we have months or years to be trying for a breakthrough.)
3) Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Balch and Balch (orthomolecular (supplementation with vitamins and herbs) medicine w/ much emphasis also placed on herbs, homeopathy and other healing processes/modalities in later volumes
4) Anything by Susun Weed (specializes in East Coast herbs and women's issues)
5) Anything by Michael Moore (specializes in West Coast North American herbs)
6) Anything by Michael Tierra, Rosemary Gladstar, Kathi Keville, Candace Cantin-Packard
7) Anything by Diane Stein, especially All Women Are Healers
8) Staying Healthy with the Seasons by Elson Haas--the best discussion and practicuum (how to live/do) for Taoist 5 Element Theory I have ever seen, and a vitally important read for any natural healer, especially those practitioners of acupuncture and TCM, but truly for everyone, especially if you eat food...
9) Amadea Morningstar's and Dr. Vasant Lad's books on Ayurveda
10) Homeopathic Medicine at Home by Panos and Heimlich, and Everybody's Guide to Homeopathic Medicine by Ullman. (I greatly prefer the first volume.)
11) The Scientific Validation of Herbal Medicine by Daniel Mowrey
12) Anything by Christopher Hobbs

There are SO many others. Please contact me if you would like further info.
