deb35802	I've heard of people drinking it for their health. Another use (and I can vouch for this) is to treat sunburn. Especially severe sunburn. It takes the sting of the burn right out! Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

kelee	A friend of mine takes it for heartburn (1tbsp mixed with 1tbsp of water), she says heartburn is because your body overproduces acid, and by giving it more, it stops - and it helps her. I have also heard it stops bleeding if you drink 2 tbsp in 1 cup water, as well as curbing appetite and increasing metabolism. Not sure how true any are, I tried it, and couldn't handle the taste. Janet C	Apple Cider Vinegar is very helpful in many home remedies. I understand that it helps you lose weight, though I don't know that for a fact since diet and exercise must always be utilized in order to lose weight effectively. However, I do know that Apple Cider Vinegar and honey make an effective cure for the stomach flu and diarrhea. By taking a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and a teaspoon of honey in 6 oz. of water, it will return the body's acid/alkaline balance to normal and get rid of nausea and burning diarrhea. It doesn't get rid of the trots, (sorry), but it does get rid of the burn. Also, if you have acid reflux disease (which in the old days was called heartburn), you can use the above remedy to get rid of the burn. Again, it works on the principle which changes your body from acid to alkaline, removing the cause of the upset or in this case, the burning sensation.
