WWHRD	Hi hon. My son is a real barfer, too so I hear ya. Benadryl and Dramamine turn into the same thing when processed by the liver. They are both antiemetics. There is a dye free Benadryl liquid, which doesn't stain if it comes back up. The strips are a dose for a bigger child, so cut it in half with dry scissors for your 2 year old. If you are able to get the liquid Benadryl, and those little Benadryl strips that melt on the tongue it might be good to have BOTH on hand. Sometimes my son will take one and not the other. Dramamine doesn't come in anything but god awful kids chewables, and they would certainly make him vomit from that fake orange flavoring & the odor. Plus they get stuck in their teeth, which my kids can't handle at all. When they are barfy, keep them away from all dairy & Soy products until 48 hours after the last vomit. I give mine a sippy cup with a couple ice cubes in it, just a little trickle of water works for me. I'm so sorry he's vomiting. I'm sure you're worried, so take care. marie m	ginger tea; that is, some grated VERY fresh Ginger in a mug or cup, and pour boiling water over it, leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Have you tried Rescue Remedy, either in the dropper botttle or spray, or now in a cream form; you could massage it into his tummy; or you could try aromatherapy oils; a drop of Chamomile and a drop of Peppermint in a teaspoon of a good carrier oil, like grapseed or sweet almond oil, and massaged slowly and gently over the abdomen. i found this particularly good for one of my sons at the same age, who was hyper all the time and had frequent tummy upsets. i wonder, has the vomiting been investigated properly? Is he a nervous type of child?Or what type of medication he is on? It may be a lifestyle change you need to look at for him, rather than treating a set of symptoms. Was this answer helpful to you? Jennifer M	It is VERY important to figure out why he is vomiting. If you prefer an alternative to traditional medical approaches a doctor of chiropractic would be a great place to start. They will be able to diagnose the conditon or refer him for further testing along with the fact that chiropractors will also be looking for the conservative options first if at all possible.
