Okay... It sounds like you have many underlying problems in your spine. Your description is very brief and so I can only make assumptions and guesses.
I can suggest a few things to you.
Firstly, get an ice pack (a bag of peas should do just nicely), wrap it in a thin cloth and put it on the area for 10 minutes. Take it off for 20, put on for 10, take of for 20, etc. This should ease the area.
If you have any 'Biofreeze'. It's great stuff. It's a kind of 'cold heat' gel which is herb-based.
The next step, is to see someone about it. As you wanted a natural remedy, I would suggest a chiropractor (McTimony/Gonstead/Diversified), or even see an osteopath. Which ever you feel more comfortable. If you opt for a chiropractor, look in the yellow pages, and try and find a 'wellness' chiropractor... they can treat you for this, as well as a prevention for a relapse of the same condition.
On the long term, I would suggest using a Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate combination capsule, and also Evening Primrose Oil. They help lubricate the joints, help the spinal discs and also work as a natural anti-inflammatory. They can be bought at Holland and Barrets, GNC, etc...

Stretching every morning and every night. I use one of those big balls and stretch and do crunches. I know it sounds silly and redundant (I'm sure your doctors told you something close to that), but it is affective for me and it requires no drugs. You might not be able to do the crunches, but maybe leg lifts or other exercises.

I suffered from this for 2 yrs, and then tried Joint Forumla by Avon- the ingredients are Glucosamine And Devil's Claw- 2 natural/ herbal type remedies- I am sure it is available in any store that sells vitamins, herbs, etc but if its not tha Avon formula, you may have to buy the 2 ingredients separately- in 3 days, I had no more pain- and my pain was from a bulged disc as well- I used to cry myself to sleep prior to this great " find"- Avon sells it very cheaply in one tablet form, taken a few times a day-so, find it either way- it worked! And, after a few months, I did not use it, and the pain has not come back as yet.

Most common cause of sciatic nerve pain is from a tight piriformis. Stretch this muscle ten times for about a six second hold each time.

I would say lots of Physical Therapy and continue to do the exercises the PT gives you. Do them every single day. Keep active as far as walking and stretching. Don't lift anything over 5lbs for a while.
Good luck with natural treatment, I'm having surgery tomorrow on my back for a similar situation...unfortunately these things did not work for me but they do for most people.

Try this- it hurts but works.
Get somebody to put their elbow into your butt cheek- in the middle, you can feel where the hole in the pelvis is to press. (You are laying on your stomach) Have them lean in hard with their elbow and stay there for a couple minutes. It will hurt a lot at first then will slack off. Repeat on other side. Sciatica gone- it does something with the nerve bundle there.
Not sure about a bulging disc- I would see a chiropractor.

lay on back CAREFULLY on the floor. Flop your bent knees to one side while keeping your shoulders flat on the floor. Wait a couple of seconds. Do this on the opposite side. Then hug your knees to your chest and rock back and forth a tiny bit. Then carefully stretch legs out on the floor and just lay still for several minutes. This should relieve pressure, it works for me.
To stop muscle spasm pain, drink Chamomile tea.
