Is it lodged in your tonsil? Use a toothbrush to gently guide it out...be careful not to gag yourself or you'll have a whole new problem.

gargle warm water, make sure you let it run a little down your throat. popcorn shells have very ragged edges and can actually cut into the flesh in your throat, roof of your mouth etc. just keep gargling with warm water until it flushes it out.

try using your tooth brush i think it helps since the popcorn piece is most likely round and smooth on the outside so anything you do will not easily. The tiny bristles can easily lift the piece since there are so many one is bound to get in one of its openings on the side hopefully. Just be careful cuz you could cough from the tooth brush down your throat.
