How To Use
- Shake well before each dose.
- Take Trimox 125 as directed by your doctor, usually every 8 or 12 hours.

- Therefore, take Trimox 125 at evenly spaced intervals.
- Continue to take Trimox 125 until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days.
- Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection.
- Inform your doctor if your condition does not improve in a few days.
Side Effects
- Trimox 125 may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting during the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication.

- An allergic reaction to Trimox 125 is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.
- Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing.
- Trimox 125 may cause temporary staining of the teeth.
- Proper brushing will usually remove this staining and may prevent it from occurring.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: blood disorders, kidney problems, allergies (especially to penicillin or other antibiotics).
- Use of Trimox 125 for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., oral or vaginal yeast infection).
- Contact your doctor if you notice white patches in your mouth, a change in vaginal discharge or other new symptoms.
- Before using Trimox 125, tell your doctor if you are pregnant.
- Trimox 125 passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant.

Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
- If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not double the dose to catch up.
Drug Interactions

- Trimox 125 may interfere with the effectiveness of birth control pills.
