Storage Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Overdose If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Tioconazole 1 may be harmful if swallowed. Photos Rite Aid Tioconazole 1, Tioconazole Tioconazole-1 How To Use Tioconazole 1 is for vaginal use only and is usually given as a single dose. Open the applicator just prior to use. Insert the applicator high into the vagina (unless you are pregnant) and press the plunger to release medication. Discard the applicator. Use a sanitary napkin/minipad to prevent staining clothing. Do not use a tampon. A detailed instruction sheet should be provided with the medication. Review the instructions and be sure to ask your doctor or pharmacist should you have any questions. Side Effects Tioconazole 1 may cause vaginal itching, burning, irritation or pain or painful urination. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, contact your doctor. Tioconazole 1 should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is unknown if Tioconazole 1 is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Missed Dose If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered. Drug Interactions Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use. Avoid the use of vaginal douches while using Tioconazole 1. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
