Uses
This rinse is used for the single-application treatment of head lice. A single follow-up application may be given in 7 days if live lice are still present.
Storage
- Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light.
- Do not store in the bathroom.
Overdose
- If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
- Sb Lice Treatment may be harmful if swallowed.
- Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, headache, weakness, seizures, and loss of consciousness.
How To Use
- Use after the hair has been washed with regular shampoo, rinsed completely with water and towel dried.
- Apply an amount sufficient to saturate the hair and scalp (especially behind the ears and on the neck).
- This should be left on for 10 minutes (no more, no less), then rinsed off completely with water.
Side Effects
- Itching, tingling, numbness, redness or irritation may occur.
- If these effects continue, inform your doctor.
- Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, burning or swelling of the skin.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, allergies.
- Sb Lice Treatment should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy.
- Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
- It is not known if Sb Lice Treatment appears in breast milk.
- Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Missed Dose
- Apply Sb Lice Treatment as soon as possible after it is prescribed.
- Use only the amount prescribed.
Drug Interactions
- Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take.
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
