Uses
Saline Nasal is used to treat dry nasal passages (nostrils).
Storage
- Store at room temperature between 36 and 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
Overdose
How To Use
- Spray Saline Nasal into the nose (each nostril) as needed; or use as directed by your doctor.
- To use the nasal spray, place the tip of the container just inside the nostril.
- Be careful not to touch the container to the inside of the nose.
- After spraying Saline Nasal, breathe deeply through the nose several times to be sure the medication reaches deep into the nose.
Side Effects
- Stinging, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, or salty taste may occur.
- If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor.
- Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: frequent nosebleeds.
- If you notice any other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially drug allergies).
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using Saline Nasal.
- It is not known whether Saline Nasal passes into breast milk.
- Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Missed Dose
Drug Interactions
- Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other nose sprays, decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine).
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
