Uses
Plexion Ts is used on the skin to treat acne and other skin conditions (e.g., seborrheic dermatitis).
Storage
- Store Plexion Ts according to the product labeling.
- Keep all medication away from children and pets.
Overdose
- If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
- Plexion Ts may be harmful if swallowed.
How To Use
- Plexion Ts is for use on the skin only.
- Clean the affected area and apply a thin layer of medication to the skin 1 to 3 times daily; or use as directed by your doctor.
- Learn all preparation and usage instructions in the product package and ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions about any of the information.
- Avoid getting any of Plexion Ts in the eyes or inside the nose or mouth.
Side Effects
- Redness and irritation of the skin may occur.
- If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor.
- Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: cracked skin, or rash.
- Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: weakness, dark urine, yellowing eyes, fever.
- An allergic reaction to Plexion Ts is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.
- Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, allergies (especially to sulfa drugs).
- Plexion Ts should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.
- Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
- Based on information of related drugs, Plexion Ts may pass into breast milk.
- Therefore, breast-feeding while using Plexion Ts is not recommended.
- Consult your doctor before breast- feeding.
Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
- If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not double the dose to catch up.
Drug Interactions
- Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other skin products.
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
