Nasol is used to treat dry nasal passages (nostrils).

Uses
Nasol is used to treat dry nasal passages (nostrils).


Storage
  • Store at room temperature between 36 and 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.


Overdose
  • Not applicable.

How To Use
  • Spray Nasol into the nose (each nostril) as needed; or use as directed by your doctor.
  • To use the nasal spray, place the tip of the container just inside the nostril.
  • Be careful not to touch the container to the inside of the nose.
  • After spraying Nasol, breathe deeply through the nose several times to be sure the medication reaches deep into the nose.

Side Effects
  • Stinging, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, or salty taste may occur.
  • If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: frequent nosebleeds.
  • If you notice any other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially drug allergies).
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using Nasol.
  • It is not known whether Nasol passes into breast milk.
  • Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Missed Dose
  • Not applicable.

Drug Interactions
  • Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other nose sprays, decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine).
  • Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
