Uses
Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy. Fluoride is used to prevent dental cavities.
Storage
- Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight.
- Store the liquid form in the original plastic container.
- Do not store in the bathroom.
Overdose
- If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
- Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, blood in vomit, tiredness, increased salivation, tingling, and seizures.

How To Use
- Take as directed.
- Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products.
- Also, fluoride absorption may be decreased with food/dairy products high in calcium.
- Consult your pharmacist for more details about taking this with food.
- Chewable tablets are to be chewed thoroughly before swallowing.
- The fluoride in this chewable tablet can be absorbed directly into the teeth during and after chewing, as well as being absorbed into your system after you swallow it.
- Therefore, it is best not to eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes after taking this.
- Calcium (including milk and dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.g., certain antacids or laxatives) can decrease the absorption of fluoride, thereby decreasing its effectiveness.
- Take Multi-Vita Bets W/fluoride several hours apart from such products/foods.
Side Effects
- Most people can take Multi-Vita Bets W/fluoride with minimal or no side effects.
- Stomach upset may occur.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Be sure your doctor is informed of your medical history, especially of: drug allergies.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using Multi-Vita Bets W/fluoride.
- The fluoride in this product is known to be excreted into breast milk.
- Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered.
- If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not double-up the doses.
Drug Interactions
- Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take.
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
