Lotrimin Ultra is used to treat certain fungal infections (e.g., athlete s foot).
Storage
- Store at room temperature between 41 and 86 degrees F (5-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
Overdose
- If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

How To Use
- Lotrimin Ultra is for use on the skin only and is usually applied once a day for four weeks.
- Clean and dry the affected area as directed, then apply a small amount of the medication on the skin to cover the area and surrounding skin.
- Cover with a bandage only if directed to do so by your doctor.
- Wash hands after applying Lotrimin Ultra.
- Use Lotrimin Ultra as prescribed for the full treatment time.
- Do not use large amounts, apply this more often or stop using without your doctor s approval.
- Stopping Lotrimin Ultra too soon may lead to ineffective treatment and the reoccurrence of your infection.
- Notify your doctor if the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve after 4 weeks or becomes worse.
Side Effects
- Skin reactions such as burning, stinging, worsening of the condition, itching, rash, redness, blistering or swelling have occurred.
- If these persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Before using Lotrimin Ultra, tell your doctor your medical history, including: allergies (especially drug allergies).
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using Lotrimin Ultra.
- It is not known whether Lotrimin Ultra is excreted into breast milk.
- Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
- If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not double-up the dose to catch up.
Drug Interactions
- Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially of: all skin products, antibiotics.
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
