They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy. Storage Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children. Overdose If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools. Take Iberet-Folic 500 with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking Iberet-Folic 500. Do not crush or chew Iberet-Folic 500 before swallowing. This timed-release product must be swallowed whole. Side Effects Iberet-Folic 500 may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
