Uses
Hydergine Lc is used to increase blood flow to the brain and treat changes in mood, memory or behavior.
Storage
- Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
- Keep oral solution from freezing.
Overdose
- If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

How To Use
- Take Hydergine Lc exactly as prescribed.
- Do not increase your dose or take it for longer than prescribed without consulting your doctor.
- It may take several weeks before you see any improvement from the medication.
- Do not stop taking Hydergine Lc without your doctor s approval.
Side Effects
- Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, blurred vision, dizziness, fainting, flushing, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting, stomach cramps, stuffy or runny nose.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: blood pressure problems, heart problems, behavioral problems, liver disease, allergies.
- Hydergine Lc should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.
- Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
- It is not known if Hydergine Lc is excreted into breast milk.
- Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not "double-up the dose to catch up.
- Check with your doctor if 2 or more doses have been missed.
Drug Interactions
- Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: nitrates (e.g., isosorbide, nitroglycerin), dopamine, macrolide antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin), efavirenz, saquinavir, triptan drugs (e.g., naratriptan, sumatriptan).
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
