How To Use
- Take this product by mouth as directed.
- Follow all directions on the product package.

- Your condition may require prescription medication and/or medical supervision.
Side Effects
- Nausea, stomach upset, dizziness or drowsiness may occur.
- If these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor promptly.
- Tell your doctor immediately if you have any of these unlikely but serious side effects: fatigue, sweating, unusually fast or irregular heart beat, chest pain, trouble sleeping, mental/mood changes, tremor.
- An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.
- Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor before using this product: heart disease (e.g., heart failure, angina), irregular pulse (arrhythmia), high or low blood pressure.
- This product may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery.
- Limit alcohol intake because it can intensify the dizziness or drowsiness effects of this product.
- The liquid preparations of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol.

Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember.
- If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not double the dose to catch up.
Drug Interactions
- Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription medications you may use, especially of drowsiness-causing drugs such as: medicine for sleep (sedatives), tranquilizers, anti-anxiety drugs (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine or tricyclics such as amitriptyline), anti-seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants, antihistamines that cause drowsiness (e.g., diphenhydramine).
- Also report the use of heart/blood pressure medications such as: beta-blockers (e.g., atenolol, metoprolol), calcium channel blockers (e.g., diltiazem, nifedipine, verapamil), ACE inhibitors (e.g., captopril, lisinopril), angiotensin blockers (e.g., losartan, valsartan), digoxin.
- Check the labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and- cold products) because they may contain drowsiness-causing ingredients.
- Ask your pharmacist about the safe use of those products.
