Uses
Ethavex-100 helps to widen blood vessels improving blood flow through the body. It is used in the treatment of blood vessel disorders and to improve circulation.


Storage
  • Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light.
  • Do not store in the bathroom.


Overdose
  • If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

How To Use
  • Take Ethavex-100 by mouth as prescribed, usually three times a day.
  • Be sure to follow the dosing instructions closely.
  • Do not increase your dose or stop taking this without first consulting your doctor.
  • Ethavex-100 may be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.

Side Effects
  • Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, diarrhea, flushing, sweating, headache, drowsiness, tiredness, dizziness or rash may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication.
  • If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor.
  • To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly.
  • Notify your doctor if you experience: slow/irregular heartbeat, unusual weakness, breathing trouble, vision changes.
  • If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, glaucoma, allergies (especially drug allergies).
  • Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if Ethavex-100 causes you to feel drowsy or dizzy.
  • Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages.
  • Ethavex-100 should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy.
  • Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
  • Since small amounts of Ethavex-100 are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Missed Dose
  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
  • Do not double-up the dose to catch up.

Drug Interactions
  • Tell your doctor of all over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take.
  • Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
