It is used to treat symptoms of pancreatitis or other various digestive disorders. Storage Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom. Overdose If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include diarrhea or upset stomach. Photos Enzymatic Digestant How To Use Enzymatic Digestant works best if taken with or after meals. Antacids may hinder the effects of Enzymatic Digestant. Do not take an antacid at the same time as Enzymatic Digestant. Wait at least two hours between administration. Side Effects Generally Enzymatic Digestant is very well tolerated and side effects are mild if they occur. Diarrhea, cramping or stomach upset may occur when starting treatment. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Although very unlikely to occur, notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, severe stomach distress. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. Precautions Tell your doctor if your are allergic to the following: pork. Enzymatic Digestant should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if Enzymatic Digestant appears in breast milk.
