How To Use
  • To apply eye drops, wash hands first.
  • To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
  • For best results, Emadine must be used routinely as directed.
  • Continue using it for the full time prescribed.
  • If you are wearing contact lenses, remove them before using eye drops.
  • Then tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch.
  • Place dropper directly over eye and administer the prescribed number of drops.
  • Look downward and gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Place one finger at the corner of the eye near the nose and apply gentle pressure.
  • This will prevent the medication from draining away from the eye.
  • Try not to blink and do not rub the eye.
  • Do not rinse the dropper.
  • Replace cap after use.
  • If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
  • Administer eye drops before eye ointments, to allow the eye drops to enter the eye.
  • Do not use if solution is discolored.
  • Soft contact lenses should not be inserted within 10 minutes after using eye drops; otherwise the preservative in the drops may be absorbed by the lens.
  • This product is for use in the eyes only.
