Uses
Easygel contains fluoride. Fluoride makes teeth more resistant to decay and bacteria that cause cavities. Easygel is used as a topical gel application for the teeth.


Storage
  • Store at room temperature away from sunlight.
  • Avoid freezing.


Overdose
  • If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
  • Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, excess saliva, stomach pain, diarrhea, irritability, seizures, and loss of consciousness.

How To Use
  • Easygel is used as a topical gel to be applied with a toothbrush.
  • Use once or twice daily after thorough brushing and flossing.
  • Shake excess water from toothbrush.
  • Apply gel liberally to toothbrush (cover bristle surface completely).
  • Brush all surfaces of teeth for 1 minute.
  • Be sure to swish gel around and between teeth.
  • Expectorate (spit out) any excess.
  • Do not swallow gel.
  • Do not rinse mouth, eat or drink for 30 minutes after using.

Side Effects
  • Easygel may cause staining of the teeth or tongue.
  • The stains can be removed by your dentist.
  • Changes in taste can also occur while using Easygel.
  • If Easygel is accidentally swallowed, stomach upset or nausea may occur.
  • If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: all illnesses, if you are on a low-salt diet, if you live in an area where the drinking water is fluoridated, allergies (especially to fluoride).
  • This fluoride supplement is used when the drinking water contains low fluoride levels (less than 0.7 parts per million).
  • Easygel should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
  • Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

Missed Dose
  • If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
  • Do not "double-up the dose to catch up.

Drug Interactions
  • Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take.
  • Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
