Uses
Yohimbine has been used to increase low blood pressure, to widen (dilate) the pupil of the eye and for certain cases of male impotence.
Storage
- Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and sunlight.
- Do not store in the bathroom.
Overdose
- If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
- Symptoms of overdose may include weakness, fatigue, dizziness, and paralysis.
How To Use
- Dayto-Himbin must be taken as directed.
- Do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed.
Side Effects
- Dayto-Himbin may cause increased heart rate, sweating, nervousness, tremor, irritability, headache, dizziness and flushing.
- If these effects continue or become severe notify your doctor.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Dayto-Himbin should not be used by anyone with the following conditions: kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure (hypertension).
- Use with caution in the presence of depression, psychiatric illness or liver disease.
- Dayto-Himbin should not be used by children.
- Dayto-Himbin should not be used by pregnant women.
- Dayto-Himbin is not generally used by females.
Missed Dose
- Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the next dose.
- If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.
- Do not double-up the dose.
Drug Interactions
- Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
