Reason: High Blood Pressure and to assist Hot Flushes Date: 8 February 2009
Side Effects
For the first 3 or 4 days I was very sleepy, my body adjusted very quickly and then I was fine. I had tennis elbow prior to taking the drug, that has worsened a bit but I don't know if that is a side effect.

Additional Thoughts
I was having hot flushes (menopausal) every hour or so both day and night as well as dangerously high blood pressure. These flushes were embarassing as I would perspire profusely all over my work and anyone I happened to lean over. Not only that I was uncomfortable most of the time and getting very little sleep. After taking Clonidine Hcl for about a week the flushes subsided to about 2 a day and maybe 2 a night and my blood pressure went down immediately. I feel great for the first time in ages! I love this feeling.
