So, I'm 17 years old and I have two jobs.

Uses
Thiamine, vitamin B1, is necessary to prevent or treat stomach, heart or nerve problems caused by thiamine deficiency.


Storage
  • Store at room temperature and keep away from moisture and sunlight.
  • Do not store in the bathroom.
  • Do not freeze the liquid forms.


Overdose
  • If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

How To Use
  • Take B-1 as directed.
  • It is usually taken three times a day with meals.
  • Follow any special dietary recommendations made by your doctor or nutritionist while taking B-1.

Side Effects
  • B-1 may cause itching, sweating, feeling of warmth, nausea, weakness, or restlessness.
  • These effects should subside as your body adjusts to B-1.
  • Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.
  • Notify your doctor if you experience: shortness of breath, tightness of the throat.
  • If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • If you have had a bad reaction (skin reaction, difficulty swallowing, or difficulty breathing) to thiamine in the past, tell your doctor.
  • Except in doses greater than recommended, thiamine is considered safe for use during pregnancy and while breast-feeding.

Missed Dose
  • Take the missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the next dose.
  • If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.
  • Do not double-up the dose.

Drug Interactions
  • Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: drugs used for muscle relaxation during surgery.
  • Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
