Take Augmentin Es-600 as directed by your doctor, usually every 12 hours. Augmentin Es-600 should be taken with food. Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Therefore, take Augmentin Es-600 at evenly spaced intervals. Continue to take Augmentin Es-600 until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection. Side Effects Augmentin Es-600 may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting during the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: sore mouth, sore throat, fever, easy bruising or bleeding, dark urine, stomach pain, yellowing eyes/skin.
