Side Effects

Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing.
Cough, trouble breathing.
Fever, chills, sore throat, and body aches.
Weakness, nausea, vomiting, dryness or metallic taste in your mouth, muscle pain, bone pain, constipation.
Weight loss, sudden or severe stomach pain, itchy skin, uneven heartbeats, eye redness or sensitivity to light.
Precautions
- You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to paricalcitol, or if you have high levels of calcium or vitamin D in your blood.
Drug Interactions
- Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Your doctor will need to check your blood or urine at regular visits while you are using this medicine.
