Uses
This medication causes the pupil of the eye to shrink. It is used to reverse the effects of drugs used to enlarge the pupil.
Notes
- This medication should not be used more than once a week.
Storage
- Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat.
- Check the expiration date on the container and properly discard of any unused medication after the date.
- Discard this if the solution is not clear or colorless.

How To Use
- HOW TO USE THIS MEDICATION: Shake the container well for several minutes before using.
- Apply eye drops to the affected eye(s) as follows: Wash hands first.
- To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye.
- Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch.
- Place the proper number of drops into the pouch.
- Close the eye for a minute and try not to blink.
- Do not rub the eye.
- Cover the container tightly.
Side Effects
- This medication may temporarily sting or burn your eyes when first applied.
- Redness or tearing may also occur.
- If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor.
- Vision may be temporarily unstable for a period after applying this, especially night vision.
- Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision.
- Notify your doctor immediately if you develop a skin rash, itching, pain, swelling in or around the eyes or headache.
- If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
- Tell your doctor if you have any eye problems or allergies.
- This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
- Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
Missed Dose
- If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
- Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
Drug Interactions
- Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take especially other eye medication.
- Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
