Uses
Passion flower has been used for trouble sleeping (insomnia) and anxiety.Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives.   • Keep all medications and herbal products away from children and pets.


How To Use
  • Take this product by mouth as directed.
  • Follow all directions and warnings on the product package.
  • If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.

Side Effects
  • Drowsiness or dizziness may occur.
  • If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: mental/mood changes (e.g., confusion), muscle/joint pain.Tell your doctor immediately if any of these rare but very serious side effects occur: fast/irregular heartbeat.A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare.
  • However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing.If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions
  • Before taking passion flower, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies.This product may make you dizzy or drowsy.
  • Use caution while driving, using machinery, or doing any activity that requires alertness.
  • Avoid alcoholic beverages.Liquid forms of this product may contain sugar and/or alcohol.
  • Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence, or liver disease.
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist about using this product safely.Passion flower must not be used during pregnancy.
  • If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, tell your doctor immediately.It is not known whether this product passes into breast milk.
  • Because of the possible risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this product is not recommended.
  • Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Missed Dose
  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
  • If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
  • Do not double the dose to catch up.

Drug Interactions
  • Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially of: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine).Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you also take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: certain antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), anti-seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine), other medicine for sleep or anxiety (e.g., alprazolam, diazepam, zolpidem), muscle relaxants, narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., chlorpromazine, risperidone, amitriptyline, trazodone).Check the labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they may contain ingredients that could cause drowsiness.
  • Ask your pharmacist about using those products safely.Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with your doctor or pharmacist first
