Sulfur products have antibacterial, peeling and drying actions. This medication is used topically to treat acne and oily skin.
Notes
- Follow your doctor's instructions and keep all doctors appointments so the effectiveness of this therapy can be monitored.
Storage
- Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat.
- Check the expiration date on the bottle and discard any expired medication after that date.
How To Use
- HOW TO USE THIS MEDICATION: This medication is for topical use only.
- Clean the affected area before applying this medication.
- Some products require you shake them before use; consult your pharmacist for additional details.
- Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day as directed.
- Apply with fingers or an applicator.
- Wash hands after use.
- Do not use large amounts, apply this more often or use this for a longer period than directed.
- Your condition will not clear faster, but the chance for side effects may be increased.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Do not get this medication inside the nose or mouth.
Side Effects
- This medication may cause redness, dry skin and peeling the first few days as your body adjusts to it.
- Notify your doctor if these symptoms continue or if you experience excessive irritation or burning.

Precautions
